Welcome to the latest in my series of tales from this wonderfiul book which retells well known Bible stories and places the characters in the actual countries they were from. I hope you have enjoyed them, it has been fascinating for me to learn something new about each of the characters, not least the countries they were from as I had assumed they were all from the area we know today as Palestine / Israel but they weren't!
This story has some difficult bits in and, llike good stories should, it challenges us in many ways.

We think that Esther was a really good Queen because she always wanted to teach good things to all of the people and that she was braver in doing so, particularly when up against people who did not want the same! We all agree that we should follow in Esther's footsteps and be more like her!

Thank you 5D, it's not easy being brave but sometimes we just have to trust and do the right thing. Let's all be more like Esther!

We like how above all there was a clear message of trying to achieve peace regardless of background in this story :)

We pray for peace, it doesn't matter that we are different - we can all bring peace.

Thank you Y6, you are so right, peace is a precious thing and we must all do what we can to bring peace about. This is especially important when dealing with people who are different to us or maybe people we may not like; we acn all find ways to live in peace with each other with mutual respect and care.
