My worship this week is considering our value of 'Thankfulness'. There are a lot of things we take for granted and perhaps are not as thankful for as we should be - one of these is our health; we take for granted that we can get medical help if we are poorly, even seriously so. Back when Jesus walked the earth this was not the case and this story from Luke's Gospel reminds us of how important Jesus thought it was to say thank you!

We have discussed being thankful for what we have and not taking things for granted. This has also reminded us of the importance of showing kindness to everyone. We will try our best to always say thank you.

We spoke about being kind to everyone no matter how they look and to be grateful to anyone who gives you anything and for those things that you don't get.

We thought about what we are thankful for. The children said family, friends and all the things they have.

A great story which reminds us that we should always show gratitude and appreciation. Taking things for granted is easy to do so we must be careful to remember to say thank you whenever we can.
Have a lovely week!
