This week's worship is looking at the life of St Patrick, the patrin saint of Ireland whose feast day is the 17th March. There are many stories and legends about Patrick but in our worship today we are thinking about his love of God and how he followed God's command to love even those who persecuted him.
(Important note about the video - the song at the beginning may not have sound, I have been having some technical challenges! If there's no sound, fast forward to the main slides...)

'My vision' did not have sound so we sung along to the tune we remembered.
We thought about St. Patrick's deep faith and how we trust in God. We also discussed how sometimes the easy thing is not the right thing. We spoke about how we all ask God to help us and guide us, always!

We discussed how we should always listen to God (he always has a plan) and don't think of revenge even when something bad has happened to you.

We were surprised when Patrick went back to the country where he had been a slave. We were also confused as to why they took Patrick.

A good lesson about using skills for good wherever they are needed. If you haven't seen it, Newsround have a section all about St Patrick's Day today :)

We learnt that even if someone does something bad to us, we should always show kindness towards them to help bring them on the right path.
